Community Olympics
The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce the 1st Annual Stone County Community Olympics scheduled for June 20-23, 2024. Community Olympics are events planned and hosted by the community for the community all while promoting a healthy sense of “community" and having lots of FUN!
What is Community Olympics?
Community Olympics includes both individual and team activities for ages 14 and older. The events can be competitive and require you to be physically active - think dodgeball, kickball, pickle ball, punt/pass/kick competition, free-throw competition, 5K run/ walk, tug of war, etc... The events can be less physically active like chess, frisbee golf, water aerobics, dancing, etc... They can be team sports or individual activities. Competitive games will award points for individual participation as well as additional points for winning teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd) while non-competitive activities earn participation points for each person in attendance. Points are tallied and winning teams will be announced at the closing ceremony on the last day.

Participating in the Stone County Community Olympics is easy and exciting! To join in on the fun, simply gather a group of friends, family, or colleagues and form a team. Whether you have a passion for sports, love to showcase your talents, or enjoy a friendly challenge, there's a place for everyone in our wide range of competitions.
